Playing Catch-Up

Hello everyone. As you can see, I have not been keeping up with my blog! I am in the process of updating with pictures galore... so check back soon!

Slide!

I copied the idea, but Jackson didn't care! He got drenched and loved it! Did this again the following day and somehow he kept sliding in and flipping over in the water! I guess he doesn't mind a wet face!

Cabin Visit

We took a day-trip to our cabin and met up with Jessy her family. The boys played in the grass and then on the bank of the Cowlitz River. We had a great time, and look forward to more trips this summer.

4th of July at Kala Point

We took a trip to Kala Point in Port Townsend for the fourth. No fireworks for us this year, but lots of fun on the beach, as you can see! We dug for clams, tried without success to catch some dungeness crab, and ignited Jackson's new-found love for boats of all shapes and sizes.

New Daschund for Grandma Suzanne!

Polly has arrived! My mom adopted her from a family in Longview a few weeks ago. She's getting used to all of us. She already loves mom and step-dad, and is very comfortable with Jackson, as my mom has been watching him for me over the summer while I work. She barks at me, which is silly, but all in time. She is a wonderful addition to the family!

Miss Amaya Visits!

Jackson's cousin Amaya (and her parents, of course!) came to visit at the end of June. They had so much fun playing together. Jackson rarely gets to play with someone so close to his own age. Sadly, they only stayed for a few days, but snapped tons of pictures, as is to be expected! Only one picture of all the kids came out -Jackson with Rachel on his lap, and Amaya.

I have a brand new niece, baby Rachel, born Mother's Day! What a gift! Here are some of my favorite shots. She's so cute!

Jonathan's Graduation

As I usually do, I brought my camera to my cousin Jonathan's graduation last Saturday. We're all so proud of him.
